Web and Graphics Design

In addition to my fine art photography efforts, I also do a limited amount of web and graphics design.  I prefer to develop small web sites which will be maintained by the owner.  This requires a simple clean design and an easy web development environment.  Until recently, I have used Microsoft FrontPage as it allows site owners to maintain the site using a simple what-you-see-is-what-you-get (wysiwyg) interface.  Now I am using Dreamweaver and Contribute. This combination still allows the site owner to maintain the site using a wysiwyg interface, but does a better job separating site design from contents maintenance. Another advantage is the availability of Macintosh versions of Dreamweaver and Contribute.

While there are  tremendous benefits to CSS, my initial concern was that this could compromise the maintainability of owner-maintained sites.  So far, I am pleased with both Dreamweaver and Contribute's ability to easily edit CSS-enabled sites.

Below are links to a few web sites I have designed.
